Had Austin come out and put new water heater in 18 months ago, did a great job. Pressure relief value started weeping, which could be defective value or water pressure, hard water, host of other reasons. They didn't hesitate to come out, test everything, stand behind their original work. Did the work, left the place spotless, extremely professional ... 100% satisfied and will always be our first call.

Extremely over priced and not helpful at all. Jumped to worst case scenario and gave an estimate of $5200 to replace a jet pump and pressure tank. A well drilling company came out to give us an estimate on digging a new well and suggested we check out the capacitor. We were able to do that on our own and currently it has fixed the problem. Both well drilling company representatives that came out commented on how ridiculously high Austin’s estimate was to replace those two things. Not only that but they charge you $149 to come out and assess your situation. They do not credit it towards your service even if you go with them to do the work. My advice would be to get a second estimate before you have them do any service. I called and talked to someone today to voice my disappointment and all I received were lame excuses. I very rarely leave a review on anything but this is just ridiculous and in my mind highway robbery. BUYER BEWARE.

Dawn, I am sorry you are unhappy with the outcome of our service call on 5/11/2020. When we spoke today, I was unable to finish our discussion because you hung up. In your review, you insinuate that we wrote up a $5200 contract and asked you to sign it, which is untrue. Unfortunately, I am unable to attach the paperwork clearly showing that all we did was recommend you drill a new well. Our recommendation to you to drill a new well does not benefit us in any way, and is supported by Wisconsin DNR code. I do not doubt for a second that we verbally quoted you around $5000 as a worst-case scenario because it could easily cost that to upgrade the pump, tank, piping and all electrical to code, all while performing the work in a well pit which requires special provisions and extra labor per OSHA regulations. Our ultimate recommendation to call a well driller and get a new well was made because it would cost a lot of money to make things somewhat right in that well pit, and you would still have a non-conforming well. Again, we do not drill wells and therefore would not benefit financially by this advice. I am happy to hear you were able to get your pump running. In closing, I am sorry things turned out this way and do stand behind our initial recommendation to hire a well driller and get a new well.
