Apache plumbing has given me great service for years. I have nothing but great things to say about their service, quality, and professionalism. When you call Apache, you can count on it being done right. A number of times I have called them for vague and undefined issues, and they always figure out the best solution and get it done at a fair price. If you are considering which plumber to call, and want to call the best at the best price that's going to get it done right the first time with honest consultation and no run around, look no further than Apache plumbing.

I've always had good experiences with them - always on time and professional. I had to use another plumber once because they were booked far out, at the prices were comparable. They're my go-to plumbers.

A few weeks ago, after the first snowfall, we had a busted pipe near the meter.  They were at our house at exactly the time they said they would be, fixed the problem quickly, and didn’t charge us an arm and a leg to do it.  Hopefully we won’t need a plumber after this last storm, but if we do, we will use these guys.

Run away from this business. They cannot be trusted. On the head plumber's personal recommendation, I paid them to install a water softener in my  home. They installed the NuvoH2O system. It cost over $1,800.  It is not a water softener. It is a citrus conditioner. It did not change the quality of our water one iota. All they did was argue with me when I expressed my dissatisfaction.  Don't trust this plumber. I cannot warn anyone enough about this business. I have to pay someone else to undo their work. Don't let them rip you off, like they did me. Run, don't walk away. There are plenty of other plumbing companies in San Marcos who are honest, straight forward, and who can recommend and install a water softener that will provide for what you are looking for. Expect no honesty here.

Apache was very helpful over the phone, quickly scheduled an appointment and arrived promptly on time. The city repaved my street and tons of gravel debris made its way into my water pipes, totally messing up water pressure. They were able to clear all the lines and even take photos of the evidence so I could send it to the city. They were extremely helpful and even replaced toilet supply lines for no charge (at least they took pity on my situation!... hopefully the city does as well). Highly recommend, will be my go-to plumbers!

Great guys. I own a mobile home park and they came out to fix an issue that a different plumbing company caused. I've had them come out on a few more occasions since then and it's always been timely, reasonably priced, and done right.

I recently had a water pipe that broke in my attic in Austin while I was on vacation. The damage was extensive, but it was just a simple straight pipe that needed replaced. I called a few Austin based plumbers of which 2 of them didn't show up, and the other (large chain company), quoted me $700 to fix the pipe. I called Apache, and even though they usually don't service Austin, they agreed to come out and help me get my pipe fixed and my water turned back on so I could move back in to my house. They gave me a reasonable quote and scheduled me for the very next morning.

I called on a Saturday and left a message requesting a call back to schedule a water heater replacement.  When I didn’t get a call back, I called them Monday morning and spoke to an installer.  He didn’t seem too concerned about returning my call even though I had previously spoken to him a day before I left a message.  Like an idiot, I decided to schedule an appointment anyway.  Thirty minutes before my scheduled appointment, a different installer tells me they couldn’t get a new water heater from a wholesaler until two days later.  So I asked the installer why was an appointment scheduled if you didn’t have the replacement part for the job.  He couldn’t answer me, so I told him I will find another company who can keep their promises.  I sure did and now I have an install less than 12 hours of my call.  Don’t waste your time with this company!  Very unprofessional and deserve ZERO stars!

Literally the worst experience I've ever had. I'd used them before for a few minor projects in my house, so I called them when I needed to have a new water heater installed. In the end, they had to make a total of 6 visits to my house because they didn't come prepared with parts, or didn't install something like a drain hose. The technician was late to my house by at least an hour every visit. One particularly annoying occasion was that he left, with the job halfway done and had turned off the water to my house without telling me. I didn't get to prepare for that. When I called, I was told it had to remain off. He was supposed to arrive the next morning and didn't show up until 3 hours after that window he gave me. He also threw old parts of the water heater into my yard and didn't pick them up, so for several days I was picking up debris from the job as I found it. The installer was not helpful and performed inadequately. When you hire someone to do a job and are told it will take 2 days at most, you don't expect them to take 6 days due to their own drawbacks like forgetting parts or forgetting to install them altogether. Would not recommend! Save your sanity and hire someone else.

I want to extend my appreciation to Mr. Bronc, the Apache Plumbing Manager for his excellent customer services and to all his employees for doing an excellent job every time I need their services. They are truly professional in what they do and very friendly.  You are the best in town.

TERRIBLE!  We purchased an expensive water heater from them that ultimately had to be repaired and partly replaced by another company for an additional cost. After many months, we're still leaving messages for them to call us. We've reported them to the BBB who also failed, after several months, to get a response from them. Difficult to believe they're still in business.
