Five years ago, I was new to the mountain and had 2 running toilets. Before contacting any plumber I asked my neighbors, and a Post Office Manager (who has A LOT of contacts) Alpine Plumbing was suggested many times by different people. With 29 years of experience, the company must be doing something right. So I called and Bob Nolan and his assistant came out and fixed the running toilets. This was a simple job for him, but he made me feel listened to, and answered other questions I had a that time. Later, I had a pressure valve break and I called Alpine Plumbing and he repaired it quickly. Two years ago, I had some restoration work being done, and Bob replaced the old valves where the problem originated. At my request, Bob has since replaced my water heater (it was old and I didn't want any surprises) and recently replaced a main line from the street to the house. I very rarely post reviews online and felt it was time to share Bob's body of work that he has done for me with all of you. Bob is knowledgeable, skillful and what I liked the best is he is fair, honest and made me FEEL like a valued customer. I could go on, but you will feel good and relieved when Alpine Plumbing and Bob, do your repairs.

Bob at Alpine Plumbing has done a number of jobs in our home. We were originally quoted nearly double by other plumbers on the mountain. Bob and his team installed our new sink and disposal, connected our new bathrooms plus replaced and repaired our water heater. He was prompt, friendly and extremely well priced! Will always use Alpine Heating for any plumbing needs. Grateful to have him on the mountain!

Initially Bob Nolan was responsive and came out to address a water heater that was not functioning. He indicated that the igniter was no longer working for the pilot light and he lit it manually. He explained that condensation from the gas line had extinguish the pilot light. I asked if the light should be expected to go out again and if what he had done was a temporary Band-Aid To a larger problem. He assured me that this was unlikely to occur in the near future again since it had not gone out in the five years that we have owned this home. Other than this problem he assured me and my hot water heater was in good order. I would’ve had him continue to troubleshoot and provide a fix or suggest and install a replacement had he indicated otherwise. Five days later my hot water heater does not work and Bob is indicating that he is not responsible and that my hot water needs to be replaced. He charged me $189 for the half hour of his time and could not provide an invoice.
