One of your vehicles tailgated me for 10 miles. If your people can't be on time and have to tailgate someone and can't be respectful on the road, that's pretty sad. I won't be using your service.

Overcharged in my opinion. No estimate was given in the first place. They included driving time in their invoice. Service time was not accurate. Would not recommend.

Had a brand new HVAC unit installed for my commercial rental unit with a 5 year warranty. Stopped during a snowstorm in the first 6 months and had to call someone so the building wouldn't freeze. No estimate, no warning... just a bill for $518.00! Could not reach anyone to discuss the billing so it was sent to my landlord who then sent a threat of legal action. Nice customer service for a brand new $10,000 unit.

Hi MaryJo, It’s unfortunate that we weren’t able to connect on this sooner because we strive to give everyone the utmost level of customer service. We have looked into the matter and wanted to provide a brief explanation of what appeared to have happened. According to our records, a Penelec power outage caused the blower motor in the unit to stop working. We received a service call about the unit once Penelec had come to the property and fixed the power – this was a Saturday evening. For afterhours emergency calls like this, our first priority is getting the system back up and running, so estimates aren’t given in advance. Your husband was on site at the time of the breakdown and signed the work order. The main billing contact at the commercial establishment was, indeed, the landlord, which is why the bill went there. Spaeder, on good faith, does cover labor costs for one year if a system malfunctions on its own, but again, this happened due to electrical problems and not any malfunction within the machine itself or due to how we installed it. We’re very sorry that you weren’t able to get in touch with us. Our phone system has someone on the line 24-7, but things happen sometimes. Hopefully, this is a rare circumstance because we pride ourselves on being available to help our customers.
