Brought my Father to the emergency room, I was not allowed to be in the room with him while test were run, was made to wait in the lobby, I asked several times for information and was told nothing for over two hours, was told that the nurse will come and explain everything and the nurse never came, worse hospital in the area. And the doctor didn’t do anything, just monitored him.

I brought my oldest daughter, 13, at 1:30 in the morning to this Hospital in. It was the biggest mistake ever. I was so worried about getting her to the hospital that I forgot my ID at home. We just moved from Houston and I left her social security card at my grandmother's house in Houston. I have to have somebody send me a picture of it and then on top of that they refused to see her do too them not having my ID and social security card. The lady and registration, Yolanda Sanchez, refuse to see my daughter who had asthma and breathing complications, because I didn't have my ID with me. If I'm not mistaking that's illegal. So I had to go back to the house and get it and come back. When I did, not that anything would be different because all of the information I wrote down would be the same as what was on my id, she puts the information into the computer. She asked me if I knew who my husband was, because in the system it said that I was married to a man named William. Who is not my husband. After all of this confusion and chaos no one even bothered to bring my daughter back, they were so worried about registration that we were there for over 30 minutes before we were ever taken to the back. And mind you we were the only people there. When we got back there the nurse did not check any of her vitals. No one even put a medical bracelet on my daughter, and the doctor didn't even check to verify the patient when she came in. We waited over 45 minutes for the doctor, Ellen Waltral, who had the nastiest attitude I've ever seen in any medical professional. She told us who she was when she came into the room, and asked us what time she started getting sick. After that she looked at my daughter's nose and down her throat, listen to her chest, and said that she probably has a viral infection. Now mind you my daughter is 13 years old and has had asthma all her life. When she tells me that it's time to go to the ER, I listen to her. The woman snapped at me and started raising her voice and told me that she was not going to administer breathing treatment because she was not sick, after I asked her if she was going to administer the breathing treatment. Because we just moved from Houston some of the stuff that we have is still in Houston and we have to make another trip down there, so that medicine is something we accidentally forgot. She asked me why didn't I have her medicine, and when I explain to her why and asked her if she could prescribe us the medicine she got even nastier and said this is not a clinic. I asked her if she was going to send my daughter to Radiology to take an x-ray to alleviate the possibility of pneumonia and the woman literally sat and ignored me. After I had to repeat myself a couple of times she told me to sit down. I would suggest that anybody that needs to see any kind of medical professional for anything, steer clear of this Hospital. Go to Monahans or drive a little extra further and go to Odessa. I walked out because of the service that we got and had to go back into ask for copies of the paperwork that I signed and they refused to give it to me. I had to raise so much hell just to get copies of that paper work. Another lady asked me what the problem was and when I explained to her everything she asked me if I wanted to fill out a complaint card. A complaint card is an understatement for what I'm going to do when this Hospital opens.
