This is the best hardware store around.  I always try to go here before any other place because their service is so friendly.  They have many nice things for the home along with plumbing and electrical and tools for the men.

The store is deceptively large. They have everything I need. Staff is incredibly helpful. Locally owned!

Have only been here once, I liked the atmosphere and the employees were very helpful with finding what we needed to put these bunk beds together.

1st time there THEY ARE WONDERFUL! had been to several places for what I needed to no avail! The guy came up with a suggestion and IT WORKED! AM VERY PLEASED!!!! WILL GO THERE 1ST FROM HERE ON OUT!!!! THANK YOU!!!!

New store is great.  Welcome back.  The place to find what you need to get it done.  We have the other store in South Sioux but glad to have the Iowa store open.  Usually my go to for keys but the last trip was for a battery charger/starter.  It did the trick nicely.  Will be back as long as your open.  Thanks.

Went in to get an auger for my toilet. The older male employee I dealt with not only had no clue how to help me find what I needed, but when I made a comment to my child about selling her and her sister to a zoo if they didn’t start behaving (as parents sometimes do), he immediately perked up and said “I’d visit that zoo” and started paying special attention to my kids. My daughter told me she felt very uncomfortable with the way he responded as well.

I knew what I wanted. But I wasn't sure how to use it. The people there are so helpful! For the most part covid-19 protocols are in place yet. The store is laid out well and the staff know where everything is at. If a staff member isn't sure about a product there is no pretending, they find another staff who does. That's great to know. I highly recommend Wilkes!

We needed spark plugs for our mower. The staff greeted us as soon as we walked in and helped us find the right one! Clean and welcoming store.
