  Sadly regardless of how knowledgeable or skilled this company is at installing septic systems, their care about what they leave your property looking like is very disappointing. They were not willing to come back after natural settling happened around the tanks or any areas where they drove their equipment was left looking very undesirable. All it would have taken was bringing back a couple loads of good dirt to make it look decent again but they just wanted to point to their contracted obligation. I hope they are willing to make changes to improve their service but at this point after 6 months, it doesn’t appear they are.

  Dustin, thank you for your review. As we explained to you last year, it is a natural action of earth to settle over time after it has been excavated and backfilled, and that settling may occur over several years, and will vary, depending on the soil types. The Customer (the seller of the home you purchased) agreed (and he disclosed to you) that, if you would like the Contractor (us) to do additional work at a later date to fill in any settled areas, that the Customer will pay for all additional cost including all equipment time, moving charges, materials, trucking, seed, mulch, and profit and overhead cost. The Work Agreement addresses a prevision regarding settling of soils in all excavated areas. As we talked last year, we were willing to come back and do maintenance, such as add dirt to the natural occurring settled areas, etc., per our work agreement provisions with the seller, who was our customer. Upon discission with you, you refused to recognize the work agreement provisions and our maintenance service per the work agreement. The work agreement was priced /bid per the work agreement and its provisions, etc. The gentleman that hired us to install the sewer (now your sewer) was very happy with our work. Below is his review that he posted upon our completion of the job: " Jake and the crew at Wieser Excavating were fantastic from day one. Jake designed a compliant septic system for us, upgrading us from a 4-bedroom to a 5-bedroom. He was very conscientious of the placement, design and cost of the system from the very beginning. Astonishingly, the final product was landscaped beautifully and tucked into the natural terrain so that it appeared as a natural berm. Jake even went the extra mile and cleaned up the wood-line next to the system to achieve a natural looking, landscaped yard. All areas of work on the property were prepared, sown and protected with straw covering. I can truly say that my property was enhanced as a result of the new septic system. Many thanks to Jake & Holly as well as the rest of their crew! " I have also attached pictures of how nice we left the site when we left.   Jake and his crew were very good people. According to the experts, the work was better quality than I would have gotten locally, in Rochester city. Book as far in advance as possible, because they keep busy.
