  i called Westar Plumbing services co. mid morning on 03/05/2021 to request services for a leaking water heater, they sent a tech out that morning. while the tech was on site, they gave me a quote & helped me figure out what i needed to do for my insurance company to take care of the repair. I paid for the diagnostic visit and the technician left. Upon calling my insurance company I found out I had to take care of payment and scheduling myself. I called Westar back that same day and they had the tech return that same day to replace my water heater. I paid my bill. 2 days later after dealing with my insurance company I find out I need documentation to process my reimbursement for what I paid. I called Westar on 03/07/2021 to request the detailed documentation requested by my insurance company and they provided that to me that same day. On 03/10/2021 my insurance company requested that I have Westar Plumbing services co. call them to give them more information on the service call they did at my home. I emailed Westar Plumbing services co. and asked them to call my insurance company to help me with my reimbursement claim. Westar Plumbing services co. was already paid in full by me, they completed their obligation to my service call, they already provided me with 2 written receipts & a digital invoice requested by my insurance company... they did not need to call my insurance company or help me any more with my reimbursement claim BUT they did call my insurance company and provided them with what they needed to process my reimbursement claim AND they emailed me back to let me know that they did that. This is the 2nd time I’ve used Westar Plumbing services co. to do work at my home and I appreciate the extra steps they have taken to help me not only fix my water heater issue in a quick & timely manner but also what they have done to help me get my reimbursement.

  I used them because my home warranty wanted them they came out and told me i needed to dig my system up an the warranty didn’t cover that it was 100 degrees out I’m 64 years old ok so I did later I found out from a statement they got paid 450 dollars for digging out the system then the brought out a flimsy piece of sheet metal with a small handle they welded on and charged me 300 dollars for that also not covered then just recently not been but 4 or 5 months my house flooded all my big area rugs distroyed I had plumbers come they said tank wasn’t emptied correctly and something was clogged and I paid 800 dollars to have it pumped out again So no I would NEVER recommend them for anything !
