  This company was assigned to us by our home warranty portal. Their arrival time for a diagnosis for a microwave issue was 7/1/21 between 8-10am, they arrived at 10:45am and was done by 11:15am - stating that he would send in the diagnosis to my warranty & they would be in touch. 7/6 - my warranty company called asking if they had sent me any diagnosis as they had not heard anything - but I had not heard anything either. They reached out to Wayside with no response, so sent an email requesting a diagnosis. 7/13 - I called my warranty company back to inquire whether they had a diagnosis as I was selling my house on 7/14 & needed this done - they still had not heard from the contractor up to that point so they called them right at that point, Wayside said they would send the diagnosis that day. 7/16 - my warranty company still did not have the diagnosis when I called so they reached out to Wayside again and did not get an answer again. 8/3 - Wayside had STILL not sent in a diagnosis, and when my warranty people called, the response they got was "Oh, I thought I did it already, I'll do it today." We have rescheduled the service with a new contractor because it has been over a month & Wayside has failed to just issue a diagnosis in this amount of time, are nearly impossible to get in touch with, etc. And I expressed to them the day of the diagnostic visit that I was selling the house and this was something I needed handled as quickly as possible - I haven't lived in this house since 7/14 and am still waiting for this repair.

  He was assigned to me through my home warranty company. He never made contact with me. The one time I did talk to him was because I called him. After that, he wouldn't answer the phone when I called. He would tell the warranty company that he had set an appointment with me but never told me about them.

  As with many reviews of this company, my home warranty company assigned this contractor to service my washing machine. The guy didn't show up until 2 weeks after the initial request and that was only after I called my warranty company to check the status. It gets worse...The guy finally came and stated we needed a part and that my warranty company was going to contact us to schedule them to come out once they got the part. Three weeks and 2 trips to the laundry mat later, I call my warranty company and expressed to them what Wayside Home Improvements said that they were waiting for a part from them to fix my washing machine. The representative said that the part was shipped directly to them and they were suppose to contact us, to reschedule the service appointment. After that my warranty company scheduled again for them to come out July 3, 2020 between the hours of 12-3. They never showed up!!! Instead I got a message that said they were scheduled to come service and wanted to make sure we were home!!! Mind you, I was not expecting that because the representative did not say that they were going to call, she said that they would be here...Needless to say, I called Wayside Home Improvements July 6, 2020 at 7:30 a.m. no answer then he called back an hour later, I explained to him that no one showed up for the service call. His response was, "You didn't answer the phone, and you live 45 minutes away and I had other clients" I said to him I wasn't expecting a call to see if I was home, I was expecting you to show up!!! Then he proceeds to argue and justify what he did was right!!! Never will I ever work with this company again and furthermore I don't even want to work with my Warranty Company because evidently this has happened to so many people before!!!!
