  We used Kory for our new home construction and had problems with him during the build (cutting a floor joist that caused us to fail inspection and pay a carpenter for re-work is one example - and then he blamed our carpenter), in so much that we finished some work on our own that we paid him for because we didn’t care for his quality of work. Fast forward six years and we have had to replace some water fittings for shut off valves because of cheap materials. The thing we found today (and prompted my review) was when we went to replace the kitchen faucet. The cold water line connection was about 2 inches shorter than the hot water connection. This is resulting in us needing to go find an extension for the line or cutting the old extension and coupling in an additional chunk of pex. I can’t believe the continued sloppy work we find. It is disheartening. He might have been the least expensive, but I would have gladly paid more for quality craftsmanship.

  Kory Van Dorf did my entire new construction home last year. Everything he did turned out great. His price was good and he worked with me on fixture choice. Would use him again if I need a plumber again, but doesn't look like it!
