This Company was recomended to me by my Realtor of 15 years. The technician showed about an hour early, a very nice surprise. The repair was estimated within the polled Google price range, and less than Half the price of another local plumbing-drain Company. RESPONSE TO RESPONSE BELOW I went and got the parts to do the original fix (in the shower) that was preventing other work from being completed more than an hour past the appointment time. Which was after I tried to e-mail and call Jonathan with no response. The office voicemail said the the office had already closed at 3:00 (the appointment was for 2:00). When Jonathan did arrive (at about 3:30) he noted that the main shut off to the house did not work. I later tried to get United Plumbing to look at the shut off valve that Jonathan said didn't work, but I immediately got a labor only quote for $1800 to replace the shower valves and pex pipe (I had to supply the valves and pipe). I rejected that quote because I wanted the shut off valve fixed first (that needed to be fixed so that the water can be shut off to the house before even starting the shower work), but United Plumbing just cancelled the appointment without speaking with us. We called back to get someone to fix the shut off valve and got another appointment that was just cancelled again by United Plumbing about an hour before the appointment time (I think because I said I would do the work in the shower myself, but I still don't know why United Plumbing couldn't look at the main shut off valve to the house). United Plumbing then set another appointment for the following week and just looked at the main shut off valve, but did not fix anything. My wife tried to pay for the visit when they were at the house, but they couldn't take the card for payment. United Plumbing then sent an invoice that was already "Past Due" that stated they replaced a brass ball shut off valve, but the valve was never replaced. I tried to call Jonathan several times to clear up the incorrect invoice and got no response. They do not respond to calls and messages; cancel appointments with no logical explanation; quote work they were not asked to perform; create incorrect invoices and then .... blame the customer? ORIGINAL REVIEW: They charged to replace the main shut-off valve that they didn't replace and marked the invoice as Past Due after 2 days. This was after not showing for an appointment and cancelling two other appointments. I fixed the original issue myself instead of waiting since Jon was an hour and a half late for the appointment without any communication. The next appointment was cancelled by United Plumbing because they said they did not have enough time to perform the work they quoted which was not what they were asked to do. The next appointment was cancelled an hour before the appointment time because they didn't understand that I wanted the main shut-off valve looked at. The last appointment, I don't think we scheduled, I think United Plumbing just scheduled it on their own. They said the shut-off valve worked fine and they did not do anything, but still invoiced me for replacing the valve. The shut-off valve still does not shut the water off to the house the way it should, so now I need to find a competent plumber to actually fix the problem.

Hi Mr. Hanna. We are putting your complaint to rest, at this point your lengthy response is well noted. There is nothing we can do to stop your berating of the owner of the company. We did cancel one appointment during tropical storm Fred. The last appointment was scheduled with your wife. We clearly communicated that if she wanted to find another Plumbing Company to use she could do that, as we knew there had been issues and we could not get anyone out before Friday 8/20/21. Since we heard nothing back from her, we met her at your home, the technician clearly noted that the water main was not broken, he adjusted the cost of the charge, but failed to change the code for a water main valve replacement. At no time did anyone from United Plumbing and Drain see you or speak to you on 8/20/21. The technician was very professional and polite, he spoke in detail with your wife and everything was great when he left. I corrected the invoice and emailed you, to only get a longwinded response about how unprofessional we are. When we have so many 5 star reviews, it seems that there is only one assumption to be made, you just can't please everyone. United came by to fix the dreaded Moen shower faucet. No hot water. Moen's screw inside the shower handle was stuck beyond belief. Apparently we weren't alone. Three other homes in the same community had called United prior. The screw was stripped and the United plumber had to break the handle in order to get to the bad cartridge. Thank you United.
