A technician from umbrella came out to fix a leak under the master toilet that was causing water to drip in the basement. After the fix, the receipt states that the leak was fixed. The dripping continued after the fix, so I called again and a second technician came out. They said that they would not honor their warranty, because they had replaced a gasket on the tub, but the leak was coming from the toilet drain. They mis-diagnosed the source of the leak, did work that may not have needed done, and failed to fix the problem. Essentially, they were payed nearly $300 to fix a leak, and that leak is exactly as it was before they came. They quoted me an additional $280 to fix the leak. I will be calling a different service.

Marcus came out today and was terrific! Very good at educating us on our plumbing situation and septic issues. He spent a great deal of time making sure we understood how to best use our system. Initial contact was really good. When I needed to upgrade from my regularly scheduled appointment to an emergency situation, they had a technician call me back within 15 minutes. Fantastic customer service!

If only I.could leave zero stars, I would. This company is the most unprofessional business on the I-70 corridor and that is saying a lot. I scheduled an appointment for 9am on a Friday for a tankless water heater installation and because our boiler won’t send heat. I explained that I had the new water heater and just needed it installed and I don’t know why the boiler stopped working. About the time they were supposed to be here, they called and changed the appointment to the afternoon because of an emergency job. Okay. No big deal. Then they showed up and started troubleshooting the old water heater, which we knew was no good and was not the reason we had them there. Okay. Again, no big deal. The big deal was that they weren’t prepared for an installation and said they would come back Monday. So now I have to take a second day off of work?! Alright. It is what it is. On Monday, I get a call that due to the cold snap and snow, they are on an emergency status and therefore only dealing with emergencies and they are cancelling my appointment. I have no heat and no hot water and somehow I’m not a priority for a previously scheduled appointment?! I explain again that I have no heat and no hot water and can’t take a THIRD day off of work at a later date to get this taken care of. The woman tells me to find another company that can “meet my needs” because they aren’t able to at this time. So I waited 10 days for the initial appointment and took two days off of work so that they could come to my house once and do absolutely nothing, tell me they can’t meet my needs and leave me without heat or hot water in a snow storm with young children at home. It hit single digit temperatures tonight and I have the kids in bed sleeping on heating pads and am praying my pipes don’t burst or worse. Plus I am now several weeks out from getting an appointment elsewhere, so we do not have hot water or heat in our home for the foreseeable future. I can think of no excuse for this company’s complete lack of concern for the welfare of our family, or for cancelling our appointment. If you can’t “meet your customer’s needs” why are you in business at all?
