  Went to Local 150 to take a weld evaluation and the place is pool full of apprentices and I took my my to test heavy wall and there was nothing wrong with it and the guy told me to practice and go home just because I was a boilermaker it was BS. That said they have a great apprenticeship program and if I had it to do over again this is where I would want to go and get my apprenticeship program because it's much more thorough you'll learn more and you don't have to just deal with some less than tactful people like I did.
