We called US boiler and plumbing after spending the weekend with a newborn without heat and a leaking pipe. The company was prompt in having someone come over to take a look. When the serviceman arrived, he mentioned a pipe was leaking but it was normal and observed the boiler for about 5 minutes. He looked at our boiler and said two parts were unresponsive and that they needed to be replaced. He would be able to order parts, they’d arrive the next day but only the dispatcher can determine the order that clients are serviced. The following day I received an invoice for $1,211.00 for repairs. (For a boiler igniter) What’s interesting is that my husband and I accidentally double booked plumbers to come out - the second plumber came out an hour later and FIXED EVERYTHING on the spot! The heat wasn’t working due to clogged boiler lines from air bubbles (not from a broken boiler igniter) and the leaking pipe/valve was replaced and repaired on the spot. All of this for a small, reasonable fee. I will NOT recommend this company as they tried to take advantage of our family by charging us an unnecessary $1000+ and would have caused us to go through another week of no heat, during the winter, with an infant and small child.

I would like to clarify, you did not receive an invoice you received an estimate for the repairs. I would also like to mention because of your situation we did not charge you a service fee for coming out and diagnosing your problem.

An amazing company with a great team of technicians. We decided to install a tankless combo (heater and water) system and based upon our initial conversations with U.S. Boiler, we decided to go with them. They made us feel comfortable with our decision, providing different options while answering all of our questions. From the initial contact to receive a bid to the end of the project, they were on-time, courteous and professional. Austin, Kenny, Ricky, and Nikki were all great to work with. I highly recommend using U.S. Boiler & Plumbing for any service.
