Amazing little state park! It was well worth $2 an adult. We enjoyed our trip here and would definitely go again! They have a few historical informational markers, a swinging bridge, a lake with a fishing pier, camp bathroom, several miles of walking trails and amazing views from the ridges!! Loved it and will definitely return!!

WAY OVER PRICED. The pads are very narrow and in very poor shape. Most are on elevated pads with steep drop offs. It was literally a dangerous fall if I took one step past the end of my camper steps. My best friend is handicapped and has longer steps on his camper, so just plain dangerous. Our picnic table and BBQ were unusable. They were 100' away, and 30' down off of the pad, and the ground at the picnic table was so sloped that they put it longways on the slope so that it wouldn't tip over on someone if they put it sideways to the slope and someone sat on the downside. No fire rings, just circles of rocks, or none depending on the campsite. Reserved a week and could NOT stay more than one. Only one other camper in the entire campground and did not get a refund, just a voucher to come back. Highly recommend Piney Grove - MUCH better campground at basically the same price.

Completely enjoyed our stay! Everyone was so friendly! We were tent camping and accross from the dump station and pavilion. Apparently, the prior sewage problem has been fixed. The sites do have drop offs, but I wouldn't hesitate bringing our camper. But, we love hiking the trails and enjoying a relaxing night by the little lake. If you want a place to put out all of your yard toys, you have to go down an incline. Bathrooms could have used a bit more attention, but not horrible. The park has so much to see!
