Dependable local plumbing company that I have used for years. They quickly and professionally do the plumbing repairs you request at prices that are normally lower than other plumbers in the area. Thomas and Gabriel replaced a broken waterline valve and installed a separate water hydrant and installed a shutoff valve for it. They did the work quickly and cleaned up their job sites when they finished. The Plumbing Knight guaranteed their parts and labor for five years. The company also connected my house to the county waterline system in 2006 by installing 1/2 mile of 2" PVC pipe, fittings, and shutoff valves along our easement to our house. Their 1/2 mile of installed waterline has not had a single issue (as of today: 6 Jan 2022). Excellent work by professionals. I will definitely call them again to do plumbing repairs!

Had a leak from the upstairs bathroom that's was dripping from the celing in the living room and called Knights to come take a look. They said a diagnosis fees was around $120 so I agreed and after a few holes were cut in the celing, the leak was found to be coming from a pinhole in the water line connected to a faucet upstairs. After cutting a hole in the wall to access the water pipe, next to the faucet's p drain, a 1 foot section of the leaking pipe was replaced...problem fixed. My issue is that the plumbers told me that the sink drain was leaking and wanted another $300 to fix it. After I looked at the problem, I noticed that the p drain was knocked loose and had scuff marks on it from them cutting a hole in the wall right besides it. The sink never leaked prior to that and I was blown away by them trying to charge me to fix what they damaged. I declined to pay for the damage to be fixed but paid an overly heafty bill for the repair. I called the company the next day and explained what happened, they sent the plumbers back out to correct the problem with no charge as they should. My next issue was that the bill was not itemized and they refused to itemize the bill so I could see what the charges were for labor, parts, and associated fees. In my eyes, that's a shady practice with no transparency in pricing. I feel like they pulled up to a large house and gouged the price cause they can. Simple deduction tells me that the parts were no more than $40 at lowes leaving a huge bill for overpriced labor. Bottom line, I will not use their service again and have been using other reliable companies for plumbing needs with no issues.

    Response from the owner

Thank you for the opportunity to show you again that The Plumbing Knight lives and dies by two simple guidelines. Extraordinary Service and Integrity. Every customer's experience is always important to us. With that said Mr. Boreliz, I am very confused by your comments. This job was done over 15 months ago and we have heard of no concerns from you or your wife. The facts are when we called your home, Mrs. Boreliz informed us she did not know anything about this or you being upset. You have refused to call us back after multiple attempts. I did check our records and found that you said, “Techs were great and would love to have a beer with them if they drink.” Sir, it seems to me that you were quite satisfied with us. Not sure what happened over the last 15 months to change your mind. Like I said, “very confusing”. Lastly, you say that we have “shady practices” and “no transparency in pricing”. I would think that a company that gives you the price up front (no hidden costs) like we did with you 15 months ago and with our other customers for the last 26 years is about as transparent as you can get. As far as shady practice, I would think our FIVE YEAR WARRANTY crushes that absurd statement. Sir we are the only plumbers in Moore County who give a FIVE YEAR WARRANTY. We live and die by Extraordinary Service and Integrity Mr. Boreliz…and we always will. Your Plumbing Servant, Rodney Swarms

Called after discovering a water leak had soaked carpet in a bedroom. A technician arrived within the hour and spent two hours tracking down and fixing the fittings causing the leaks. He also replaced a couple of old fittings to hopefully prevent future failures. Superb response!!
