Had an emergency situation as my furnace all but died on me last week. Called Sylvanders and explained my situation as it was in the negative temp. They were to my mobile within an hour and within a short time they were able to get my furnace running again but found a small crack which could have been potentially bad in time. I was quoted a fair price on a new furnace which includes installation and this morning it was installed within 2-1/2 hours. They were all extremely helpful, informative, pleasant and willing to work things out with me. I give them the highest rating and strongly suggest giving them a call should you ever find a reason to do so!

One star is one too many... After losing heat late on Friday, I called Sylvander on Monday. They lead me to believe that they would be able to help me no problem. We had a technician come to the house fairly quick, and he was very nice. He went through everything in my furnace, checked out a couple things outside, and was on his way. He told me I should hear from the office soon, and when 5 hours went by I decided to give them a call. We had a furnace that hard parts under warranty. They said they would be able to get the new parts under warranty, but because we have a horizontal furnace it would make things more complicated. They originally told me that they would need 2 men to come do the job, therefore I would have to pay double labor ($210/hr). after talking things out, she said that if there was someone that could help hold things, that they could send 1 man to do it. I was waiting to hear back from them and eventually had to call them, mind you it was 0 degrees outside and we have a small child at home. When I did get ahold of them, she finally was able to give me a quote, and quoted me $1,200. That was with parts being covered under warranty, and an incentive pay of labor from the manufacturer of the furnace company since they have had many problems with these furnaces and this issue in particular. She went back on her word of saying that we could have someone here and said that they need to have 2 people. I called them back the following morning and asked to see the quote broken down and she would not give that to me. They were definitely trying to “nickle and dime” us. She even called me back to give me someone else’s number who may be able to help. They were more than capable of doing the job, but because it was a little more difficult, they weren’t wanting it. They wasted my time in trying to find someone to fix our heater in the middle of January when its freezing cold outside. We found someone who was able to help us, who had a heater on hand, and was very pleasant and easy to work with. I would NEVER recommend Sylvander to anyone. The technician that came to our house was very nice, but that was the only good part of the entire experience.

Have had them out to do scheduled maintenance a couple times and was great. Just had to do an emergency call because my furnace went out. Josh called right away and was over in no time. He identified the problem was a bad igniter and was able to install a new one in a few minutes. Highly recommend.
