  Walked into store and never once was greeted or asked if I need help finding anything. Had other customers asking me though. Passed 3 employees doing nothing at the door & 10 moving shelves, product, or just walking about. Couldn't find a thing & I've been going to that store for 30 years at this point.

  Mr. Peeks, I am very sorry that you were not greeted by Any of the associates in our Amarillo location. We are in the middle of remerchandising the entire store, BUT our customers should always come first. I am glad that you took the time to send this review. I will send it to the store manager & ask hime to remind the associates that our customers come before any task & with everything being moved our longtime customers will need help finding the products that they love!

  Great place.... would have bought a lot of stuff in Garden Dept but no carts to haul my stuff out. Will try one more time tomorrow but if no carts not coming back.

  David, Thank you for the great feedback about our store & the cart situation in lawn & garden. We strive to ensure our customers are unimpeeded in making their purchases.   Way overpriced gypsum for lawns $25 per 40 lb bag , box store $14 per 40lb bag same make .Staff unfriendly indifferent would not go back. Update .. Went back to see if things had changed since management wrote. Went to get peat moss and it was $8.00 more for a smaller pack and more expensive than HD box store who has larger packs for less. Went to speak to garden center manager after asking two accociates who were just standing around who told me to wait since he was busy swapping non related business with some guy. After over 5 mins gave up and walked out, will definitely never be back since nothing had changed whatsoever. Nice products, but the prices and staff are a different story apparently management cannot deal with these issues.

  Brian, I am sorry about your recent trip to our Amarillo location. We are in the middle of a complete store reset & I am afraid that some of our associates have become task oriented vs service oriented. I will let the store manager know about your experience. As for being overpriced, I have 2 answers. We are currently doing a national price crawl to get our pricing in line with our competition & it should be done by the end of next week. 2.) WE MATCH PRICES. There is no need to go to the big box when we will be happy to match their price. Please check out our website for details. Thank you for your review.
