Steve Venable plumbing was sub contracted out by Dana Dugas Affordable homes whom which we hired to build our home that we had saved up for years. It's been a little over a year and we had a leak last Saturday. Steve Venable plumbing used dissimilar metals for our water line, when water comes in contact with galvanized metal it's causes an acid which in turn causes the metal to corrode. It costs us $436.31. Mr. Venable is refusing to pay because he says we should have waited until the following Monday because he refused to answer his phone on a Saturday. We have 2 small children whom cannot go without water for almost 2 days but that doesn't seem to matter to this man. If you want your pipes to leak because of carelessness and be out of pocket for someone else's mistakes, hire this company as they are for you. If not, I urge you to go somewhere else. Pics and video if requested.

I wouldn't even call this a plumbing company. To do so would be an insult to any professional that takes pride in their work. This company did the plumbing in my house for my contractor Dana Dugas just over a year ago. This past Saturday I noticed my yard was wet by the water meter. I find that the connection between the meter and shutoff to the house is a conglomeration of pvc and 2 different metals that corroded to the point where there were no threads left and the water is shooting out. Tried to call him to come fix it but no answer and voice mailbox full. Had to call Pipes and Plugs who upon looking at it said they were surprised it lasted this long. Finally talked to Steve on the phone and after basically blaming me for trying to repair something I broke then saying his guys probably did it that he would only pay $200. The job was $430 being that it happened on the weekend. ($99 emergency service charge). He then went on to blame me for being impatient and that I should have waited until Monday for him to fix it. A family of 4 (2 young kids) without any water to use the restroom or bathe. You've got to be kidding right. I can understand not wanting to pay the emergency service fee but at least pick up the tab for the rest. If they did the job right the first time this wouldn't have happened. He told me he could have done the repair for $40 which looking at what he did the first time, I'd say $40 would have been a step up.

Steve Venable is da bomb! Robert Lutkins is their best plumber by far. He knows how to do the job correctly so you don't have to have someone keep coming back to fix it.
