  In September 2021 I bought a new water heater for my trailer house and had it installed by a local “plumber”. I live in Franklin and we don’t have a lot of home repair services, so I was glad he was available. This new water heater quit working roughly 30 days after installation. Called the manufacturer (Rheem/Richmond) and over 3 weeks they sent parts to get this going. Never could get it fixed. I was so frustrated I went out and bought another one, had the same “plumber” install. This new WH (#2) also went out about 30 days later. Had propane company come to check things out, because what are the chances I got 2 bad water heaters? Everything was fine in that area. After several calls to plumbers in Minden, Holdrege and Kearney…we found Stegeman Solutions. They found the reason why 2 new water heaters quit working. The “plumber” I hired/paid to install them failed to switch over the settings from natural gas to propane, plus a few other smaller things done incorrectly. It was December 30, 2021 when they found the problem, I bought the 3rd water heater that day and they installed it December 31, 2021 that evening, New Year’s Eve. I learned a lot through this experience. Facebook suggestions from local people shouldn’t be the only way to find services, but I was looking for a quick solution, and it cost me 2-3 times more. It’s January 1, 2022 and I have precious hot water, great way to start off the new year.
