Any church that allows members of their congregation to actively keep their children from the children’s amazing grandparents and family, just to keep their morbid and embarrassing secrets a secret, is disgusting. How is this a CATHOLIC church?? Because they’re all hypocrites, that’s how. Have the day you all DESERVE.

I love the St. John community. Glad to be back in church and happy with the Covid precautions they are taking. The mass in the grass was lovely, don't know how long they can do it, but again Covid precautions are well thought out and make me comfortable attending. Thanks to everyone who makes it happen.

There's such a great feeling of  enthusiasm throughout  St. John's Parish community. The priests and decons are excellent.
Their sermons are clear & inspiring. I always leave Mass with a feeling of spirit and unity.

I absolutely love St. John the Baptist, S233 Church St, Winfield, IL 60190 parish it's old and so pretty in the original church. Loads of stained glass windows and wonderful architecture. Attending Mass here is a real treat!

We enrolled our daughter in St. John the Baptist school in Winfield in 2nd grade from another private school.  I cannot say enough about the new leadership at the school with Micky Tovey (Principal) and her innovative approach and quest to make St. John the Baptist one of the best schools in the area.  We feel so comfortable amongst the other families, the welcoming and inclusive environment, strong curriculum, and most importantly the ability to cater to the individual academic and emotional needs of each of the children.  My daughter has made wonderful friends-and so have I through the parents at the school.  We are also looking forward to the new Pastor at St. John the Baptist- Father Matt Pratscher!

This has been my Parish for 37 years. I raised 3 girls here and my granddaughter currently attends the grammer school. This evening we had 5pm Mass and we felt like applauding after Fr. Keith's homily. Truly the Holy Spirit speaks thru him. After Mass was "back to school" bbq! Knights cooked. Fabulous, of course. Well attended...a grand time was had by all.  ;-)

We have found St. John the Baptist School to be a place where we can be involved in our children's education and where they are developing the educational, social and moral values we were looking for in a school.  Father Matt, Mickey Tovey and the staff are creating a wonderful environment for our children.

Warm loving people. Wonderful school. Thank you St Johns for welcoming us into your wonderful community 28 years ago.
