  Jonathan and Sparrow & Sons is a breathe of fresh air compared to all the other plumbing companies I have worked with in the past. They really care about the quality of work that they do. Most plumbers focus on just bringing you up to code or giving you a service that is lowest cost to their company while sacrificing quality. Sparrow & Sons focuses on the right way to service their customers and their 5 generation family business really shows that. I would definitely recommend them to anyone in the Carrboro / Chapel Hill area as well as throughout the Triangle.

  Edit to add: after a lot of back and forth, it was discovered that the consultation decisions were not communicated to the office or sent on to the warehouse, which is why the first faucet was nothing like what I asked for. After texting Mr. Sparrow directly, a suitable replacement faucet was found and installed. I recommend trying to get in touch with Mr. Sparrow directly as he worked to get everything right. The other people seemed less interested in what I wanted and more in just getting a job done. Not only did it take 2 weeks from consultation(which they were late for) to scheduling the install of my kitchen faucet, they didn't confirm with me the choice of faucet. It took a week to get someone scheduled to come in, then he didn't show up to work on the day. Had to reschedule for another day, their office scheduled for a time I wasn't available despite me confirming over the phone a different time. After another rescheduling, he installed a faucet I don't like that was not what I discussed during the initial consultation a month ago, and he left the old sprayer hose in place because he didn't have the part to cover the hole it would leave. Absolutely do NOT recommend, under any circumstances, you use this company.

  We are very sorry we could not help this person. After there was a scheduling problem, which was the fault of the office, Mr.Sparrow reached out to the tenants to the property, explained and apologized to the tenant, and set up a time when he could go out to the property to replace the faucet. After Mr.Sparrow finished the job, he showed the tenant the work, they said it looked good, and Mr.Sparrow left. The original faucet was very old, and had an extra hole that the new faucet did not cover, so until a cover was got for the hole, the old sprayer was left in its original position.
