  waste of money. Didn't fix my problem. NO ATTEMPT. Gave me the run around. The person who they sent to my home didn't want to work. He was in and out in 5 minutes. Heat is not working correctly (insufficient heat) and BOILER IS SHORT CYCLING EVERY 3 MINS! basically told me everything was good? come on!!! thermostats are not reaching temperature. He told me it was the thermostats after i just told him we just replaced them because of the insufficient heat and the heat still is insufficient after replacement. He told me we replaced them with cheap ones thats why it didn't work!!!! come on!!! he told me i had to get the $40 and above ones and the honeywell $28 digital we had was cheap lol. guess what? replaced all 4 thermostats with $50 ones that he himself recommended and......that didn't fix our problem. paid a service fee for him to tell me to buy new thermostats after i just had new ones installed and still didn't fix my problems. BOILER continues to short cycle every 3 mins but everything is fine lol. I Know baby steps..so each time you come out you can bang people with your service fee. They also don't return calls. Find someone else who is willing to work and not give you the run around. Stay away stay away. I DO NOT RECOMMEND SMITH COOLING & HEATING IN PEARL RIVER. NY!! ***** “short cycles” when it turns off before reaching the desired temperature. This means that if your thermostat is set to 72 degrees, the furnace may shut down at 65 or 68 degrees, but will never reach 72 degrees. Short cycling can also be used to describe a boiler that turns on and off too often. ......but everything is good. lol

  Forgot to post this review they are now our go-to for anything plumbing and HVAC. They had to replace our outdoor spigot back in March due to a cracked sillcock. I’m usually very particular when inspecting contractor work. They did such a great job and even better than I expected it to turn out.

  My boiler was not working. Within 30 minutes Matt stopped by to assess the situation. He gave me several options, including a boiler replacement, which I opted for. A crew was on site the next day to remove the old boiler and replace it with a new one. Very professional. Did a great job!
