Two technicians showed up at the house. One was grumpy, just stared at the wall and didn't say much. The other guy turned the furnace on a couple of times said there was nothing wrong with it he never even took the cover off to look inside of it he never even unscrewed the cover to look in it and he's still charged me $60 anyway. This is the first time I've ever used smedley and it's the last. Smedley charged me $60 and did absolutely nothing. They could have at least tuned it up or something. But it's obvious to me they only care about the money they don't really care about their customers all that much. I leave this review so you won't have to get ripped off like I did.

Smedley sent an installer out to give me a bid on replacing my furnace vent ducting. He was a bit vague on the pricing and promised to call me back the same day with a price, but he never called. He also told me while he was here that he would be able to do the work within about 2 business days. I've never heard from him since. I don't understand this behavior. I had Smedley install a new air conditioner about five years ago, and it was a great experience. They did good work then and we were pleased with the results, but definitely not with their visit this time.

I just had Smedley's replace the HVAC system in my house, and they did a stellar job. Totally please with the whole process. I knew my system was dying, so I was in the process of getting bids. First, Neldon gave me a detailed bid with numerous options as to level of product and price. When my system actually died, Gary helped me pick out the best options for my budget, and then dispatched a repairman to get my old unit bandaided together so we'd have AC on 100+ degree days until they could get us installed. And that was AT NO COST! The install went well, and quite pleased how things look. When I had some concerns about whether the system was working properly, they sent out Shawn, the service manager, who checked everything out for me. I'd highly recommend them...they didn't need to patch up my old AC for free, and of the 4 bids I got, they gave me the best value as far as equipment vs. price.
