  About a week ago my tenant called me regarding her heat not working so I called Simulis Plumbing. I've used them before and they was great! I stick to what I know so I asked them to come take a look at my boiler. The technician called me and told me my boiler needed to be replaced and it would cost me 8k in total. I spoke to the owner and was told I could either pay 8k to replace it or 2k to attempt to fix it but if it doesn't work I'd have to pay 8k plus the 2k(10k in total). I had another technician look at it the next day and before he even touched it he told me if its not leaking it can be fixed. He cleaned the wires and lit the pilot, it took about 10 mins It's been working fine since. I explained the situation to Nancy and she was very pleasant and even suggested that I express my concerns to the owner. The next day owner had Nancy relay a message to me that he is siding with his technician. I still had to pay them $200.00 for that service call. At this I would never use them again, the only good thing I have to say is Nancy is really good and takes pride in her job. I give her 5 stars for her customer service.

  May be good for a small job like clogged toilet etc. but do not recommend for a larger job or one that includes dealing with an estimate or insurance. Plumbing crew took 5 months to finish a job that should've taken 2 weeks. They came worked an hour then left. The woman on the phone is nice but huge disconnect between office and staff. Crews had to redo work and frankly had no idea how to finish any of the work. We ended up hiring another plumber after the fact to redo and check everything. Simulis plumbing crews cut corners and were very sloppy.

  My mom's old boiler finally gave out, it was a Friday and I didn't want my mom to go without heat or hot water, especially with the cold temps overnight. I called Simulis plumbing and Tom the owner had a crew there by the next day and had a new boiler in asap. So very grateful to Tom and his crew. They did a great job. I definitely would recommend Simulis plumbing to anyone who needs plumbing work done.
