We had Silco install a new furnace and AC in 2016, and it was the worst decision I have ever made as a homeowner. The installation itself had numerous problems, including an intermittent electrical connection that kept the AC from working. Turned out their tech had stripped the insulation improperly, cutting the actual copper wire. They also had to recharge the AC twice, right after installing it, before they figured out it had been a faulty unit from the start - but the owner still charged me $400 for the work, despite the inconvenience of several service calls and the fact that we had no AC for the whole summer. Now, in 2020, I find out that they should have installed a holder for the filter instead of us having to jam them inside the actual furnace case, which the manufacturer specifically recommends against, AND that they should have put the furnace up on blocks to keep it from rusting, which it is starting to do. They just don't have a clue what they are doing. And they leave their empty soda cans behind for you to clean up. Stay away from this crew of incompetents.

Phil is equally competent and professional in his role as a contractor / plumber for Silco . He deftly took care of our toilet bowl issues and I can highly recommend his services to you here. We hired Silco to order and install three very complicated toilets in our new home. Harry arrived on time every day and demonstrated thorough knowledge in not only plumbing, but many other subjects related to home maintenance. He got the work done quickly and with minimal disruption, and we ended up with much nicer toilets than we had previously expected at a lower cost than was anticipated. Great local company!
