  Luckily they were able to come to vacuum up the silty water in our basement within 24 hours of calling. Very glad for that. My primary complaint is that all three crew members were unvaccinated. When asked to wear masks when working in our house, they did not have any and needed to dig through their first aid kit. Their supervisor let me know he too was unvaccinated and later returned with a mask. Very disappointing. I do not understand why they would not be concerned about their own health, their families and their customers. Also they did not take credit or debit cards as payment and when pressed, could not give an estimate of the cost. I had to throw out a number. Also they asked us to make arrangements so they could have access to retrieve their equipment in the morning of the second day, after a day and 1/2 of fans and dehumidifiers. Arrangements were made and communicated by calling their office. They did not receive the message and instead they came back in the late afternoon and charged us for an extra day. I brought this up and no offer was made to adjust the price.

  Ms. Dunder, We are happy to discuss the recent services you received from our ServiceMaster team. Vaccination, as we are sure you realize, is a personal matter and we are not inclined to offer medical advice to our staff. Our technicians took steps to wear masks when asked and the work was completed. Insurance rates for mitigation and restoration are much higher than what we charged. We made an effort to keep costs down since insurance would not cover it.

  Our roof started leaking in a recent storm and we had a different cleanup service quote us $2300 for clean up and repair. We called ServiceMaster for a second opinion and I'm glad we did! After a few hours work and only $500, our roof was fixed, the mess cleaned up, and our ceiling repainted. I'm a big fan of their honesty and work!

  Everyone with ServiceMaster of Buncombe County was wonderful to work with - they were prompt, answered all of my questions, and helped guide us when we had to make decisions about the repairs we needed. They were so professional as well as being really friendly and courteous. Chad did a great job managing our project as well as responding to me quickly when I needed to ask him a question or talk over issues with him. Our kitchen had to be gutted due to a leaking washing machine. The repairs they completed look great and I'm so happy with the results. I would highly recommend ServiceMaster of Buncombe County.
