The technician was great but the company wanted to charge $500.00 for a ten minute job. Horrible value to install a $100.00 dollar part!!!

I waited 5 days for a repairman to fix my dryer. Problem was "On Button". The five days was surprising as it normally is MUCH longer to get repairs. The repairman told me the problem was fixed and told me what he did to fix it--however, when I got ready to use the dryer, I had the same broken button. Now--it will be another 5 days before I can have this fixed!! I am not happy about this--I feel that Sears should bite the bullet and get someone here to fix this problem .

I was without my refrigerator for almost 5 weeks. The first visit was scheduled for the earliest available as an emergency and it was 2 weeks from the date I called Sears. The repair man came out to determine what was wrong and order a part. 2 weeks later the second visit to repair the refrigerator after the part arrived 4 days earlier. After this repair the refrigerator was hotter than before it was repaired. I had to call three different numbers and wait on hold forever to get to speak to corporate. They finally allowed me to get a "State of Service" repair done by Mr. Appliance who came out the day I called them and had the appliance repaired. The corporate people were very helpful especially Lee, and Marcie. Sears has never responded to a repair in less than 2 weeks and I do not live in a remote area. They need to employ more repairmen or contract their service calls through Mr. Appliance.
