Don't EVER buy a sears appliance. My fridge compressor went out, only 4 years old. Compressor has a ten year warranty. But labor is not covered, just the part. Sears has no local service tech, wanted to charge $95 just to set up an appointment then the compressor has to be sent back to sears to get a new one. Might get my Kenmore fridge fixed in six weeks! Their customer service reps are horrible, barely speak English, hang up on you etc. It shouldn't take 4 hours on the phone to get a repair scheduled. Sears has become a disreputable company that only wants to sell things but cares nothing about customers after the sale
