  I called SDS for aa water leak in my basement. They came out fast and found that it was my hot water tank. They replaced it no problem. They seemed reliable and knowledgeable at first. I called them back out because my bathroom was backing up. He came out said that he was going to hydro jett the sewer line for $620. I paid him him came out and cabled the line and still hasn't returned to do the job I paid for. He is refusing to return any of my money and is ignoring my texts. He gave me every escuse why he could not come one day after another. I would not recommend this company for any emergency for sure. His pricing was fair but it's worth not having a headache and waiting several days or weeks to get the work done. Go with another company.

  If I could give them zero stars I would. I never leave reviews but felt so strongly about this company that I will. I was assigned this company for a plumbing repair by my home warranty. They came out quickly the first visit where they promptly demanded and collected full payment and have since refused to return the reimbursed portion of the warranty claim. It has been nearly 4 months of excuses as to why they can’t pay me even though they acknowledge it is due. From embezzlement, repossession, family issues, illness, and more - I’ve heard it all. Bottom line is this company is running a scam and are finally being caught on it. Also, no one wore masks inside my home in the middle of a pandemic and left a huge mess including glue on my countertops and a large hole in the drywall that should have been patched. Unprofessional is an understatement. I’ll see them in court.

  December 2020 we had drains installed in our new concrete deck. Unfortunately one drain did not drain water away as it was incorrectly installed. Over the next four months we repeatedly asked the plumber who did the work to fix the problem and finish the job. He always said he would be there, but never showed up. As it turned out, he also misrepresented the amount of materials he needed to purchase and refused to do the entire job as he described it to us. So we’re scammed in two ways... job never finished and paying for supplies never purchased. Based on this SDS employee, I wouldn’t hire SDS for any work.
