  SCAM ALERT! Working with this company through American Home Shield was one of the worst experiences I have ever had with a company in my entire life. Due to their incompetence, we were left for over 3 weeks with no working plumbing in my tenant-occupied house - which cost me over $1200+ in rent income and hotel costs due to the dwelling being inhabitable for my tenants without working plumber for over a week. They misdiagnosed the issue (which turned out to be a SIMPLE CLOG), refused to perform service when they came out a second time, then tried to charge me over $500 out of pocket to take care of the issue. Finally, I called a more reliable plumber who charged far less, went above and beyond to diagnose other potential issues in the future, and solved my problem within 24 hours of my initial call. Unfortunately, this couldn't undo the horrible service, and time and money that was already wasted on SDL. I will NEVER trust SDL with my business again, nor recommend them to anyone.

  Scam company! Sent by my home owners warranty company to repair a running toilet. SDL claimed it was from misuse or excessive force therefore, homeowner warranty company denied the claim. Not sure how they came up with a determination of misuse! But SLD said they could repair it for me for $389. The parts for the repair only cost about $30. I think they do this on purpose so the claim gets denied and they can rip off people by charging outrageous fees! The warranty company is sending out a different plumber to get another diagnose.

  Like most, AHS sent this company and now I am out $100 without even a diagnosis or attempt to fix the problem. This company is a complete scam. Spent a total of maybe 15 minutes with no real outcome. Had a leak from the garage roof and the plumber was fixated on the fact that the roof had been painted. I had my whole garage painted 2-3 years ago, but he kept saying I don't know what you did previously and that could of caused damaged. From the very beginning he was looking for ways to get AHS to deny coverage and for me to just pay him instead. When he went to master bath above garage he said the tub is not the right size and was trying to scare us into remodeling the entire bathroom and ripping out the tub. When I informed him the house was built this way and nothing has been touched in over 20 years he didn't believe me. He then just left saying I don't see water and I have 4 more houses I need to go to when it was obvious I wasn't going to agree to removing and remodeling tub. Freaking wasted $100 service fee. Going to complain to AHS as well for even doing business with this company.
