  I received two proposals to add ductless heat pumps. Schar's proposal was almost exactly the same as another proposal I received. I chose them because they were more responsive to my visual concerns for the new equipment. Though there was a long wait for the equipment (not Schar's fault - supply chain issues), they installed it when scheduled. They always called ahead when they were coming. They exceeded my expectations on the install and frequently asked for my input when there was more than one way of doing something. The equipment went in professionally and worked great from the start. Though it took us a little extra time to get the WiFi operation loaded up and working - they stuck with it and didn't leave until I was satisfied. I highly recommend Schar for HVAC work.

  We had an excellent experience with Schar. No high-pressure sales. Pablo spent a lot of time at our house. He listened to our concerns and answered all of our questions well. We were scheduled quickly. Gino and Christopher installed our units. They were very polite and professional. Quality workmanship!

  Initially, I scheduled an appointment for servicing on my water heater, but when the day arrived for a technician to come out, no one showed up. I called Schar and the lady that took my call for the appointment apologized up and down about the mistake. Apparently I was never put on the schedule in the first place. So I gave the company another chance which the second the technician did come out. He was very professional. The visit last all of about 20 minutes and mind you I do live in Akron which is about 25 minutes from the Rittman/Wadsworth area and the bill was approximately $145. That is pretty steep in my book. Professionalism was good. The price and a missed appointment by the company were the factors that shaved 2 stars off.
