  I’m so glad to finally track down S&B Handymen. I do not want them to treat anyone the way we were treated. Incompetent is the only word that I can think of to describe our experience. We found them through Thumbtack but they canceled them after the trouble we had. They left our property unfinished after paying them. They poured grout down drains causing severe damage to plumbing. They left tile uneven- with grout popping out when we step on it. The walls and floors are uneven. They removed the tile from a bathroom shower and tried to fix it but gave up. We spent $3400 on S&B plus $3800 to a plumber to fix the things they broke. They broke both flanges on the toilets when putting down tile- causing water damage to the unit below. Bradley said he was going to do whatever it took to make it right, but did nothing and never returned to the job site. Unbelievable. Do not use this company. Not worth it!!

  RIP-OFF ARTIST, CHARLATAN, CON ARTIST, CHEAT, FRAUD! He lied to us, took our money, and abandoned the job!!!!! We hired Bradley Brooks, owner of S&B Handymen to repair/replace damaged tongue and groove porch flooring, replace rotted masonite with Hardie Board siding, repair/replace rotten soffits and paint where all of the repairs were made. Firstly, they ripped off the porch floor and replaced it incorrectly with horrible craftsmanship(see photos). They did rip all of that up again to satisfy me, but replaced it with wood that is intended for interior use. It is not pressure-treated, made of pine and is intended to be used as interior wainscoting. It will have to be ripped off and replaced again with the correct materials at our expense. Secondly, they damaged a portion of the Hardie Board siding and attempted to fill the hole with wadded sand paper and caulk. I suppose they were just going to paint over it? One of the employees accidentally texted the photo to my spouse. I've included the text stream. (see photos) Thirdly, They ripped down some of the rotten soffits on the rear of our home and were attempting to cover over the additional rot underneath when I stopped them. I explained that we didn't just want to cover up a bigger problem, the worker said "Hey man, I'm just doing what Brad, owner of the company, told me to do. If you want this other fixed, you'll need to talk with him." After that, we never saw them again. There are several items he quoted that were never even attempted or completed. 75% of the job was paid for, but only about 25% of the work was completed. I have tried to call and text Bradley Brooks many times and there has been zero response from him or anyone with this company. He had the audacity to send another invoice. We did our homework before hired hime. We found this guy on thumbtack and at the time he had glowing reviews on thumbtack and Google. Since, he has been removed from thumbtack and other poor reviews have been added to Google. I fear he may just simply change the name of his LL C and continue to take advantage of people in our area, so I have included his photo and name in this review so everyone can know what this shyster looks like.

  S&B were hands down fantastic! They responded immediately to my need and completed the job very quickly, even saving me a lot of cash in the process. They are meticulous and did an outstanding job on my molding. In addition they went way out of their way to help me load and take back items that I had purchased way too much of. I couldn’t be more grateful for these guys and their years of service to this nation!
