Our main line was clogged so it started backing up in the 1st floor shower. They came on time and were able to clear it without making any kind of mess in <2 hours. Technician was nice, professional and did a great job. Would definitely use again but hopefully I won’t have to 😂

We were fortunate to have Anibal (Alex) as the technician who did the work here. He was extremely thorough, explaining everything he did as he went so we understood. He also went above and beyond in solving our problem.  In addition he was courteous, respectful and kind at all times. Rotor-Rooter is lucky to have him as an employee.  Finally, the fact that Roto-Rooter is one of the few plumbing outfits that works on weekends and does not charge weekend rates, and shows up within about two hours or so of the call for help, is not to be underestimated as a valuable service.

Ernesto was amazing! After a heavy rainstorm, the sump pump in our basement stopped working. He came and did an estimate to replace the pump, which we accepted. He replaced it and showed it working. Then, as bonus, he helped get a dehumidifier running that had stalled, and helped remove the drain cap for a bathtub that had gotten stuck. Everything now works beautifully! He was kind and great at explaining what he was doing. 5 stars!

Jude was the technician who made our service call.He was very polite and professional. Jude quickly got to work unclogging our sewer pipe and was at it for over an hour and a half. He explained the issue thoroughly and cleaned up his work area as though he’d never been there. Highly recommend and definitely ask for Jude!

Miguel came to my house after 2 days of people unsuccessfully trying to clear the line for my kitchen sink. Within minutes he had the problem diagnosed and fixed it quickly. His knowledge allowed him to make suggestions for checking the main line and found that grease had almost completely clogged the pipe. Another few minutes and that was cleaned out as well. I’m not sure if I can request him again if anything happens but I hope the company sends him over. (edited name. phone autocorrect Miguel to Manuel.)

Joseph, the plumber did an excellent job. He explained in details what had to be done. And he kept me updated through the entire process. The team all around gets high marks for courtesy & professionalism. My only complaint is  the cost, "but, I guest you get what you paid for."

Our exit pipeline to sewer was blocked, they unblocked It and did a good job but they charged 2300 for service with one guy for just an hour I think maybe a little more. Clearly taking advantage of people. Disappointed

While the price was a bit expensive the professionalism, attention to detail ,and care that Jamal brought when repairing our clogged bathtub was well worth the investment. Would absolutely use this business again for our plumbing needs.

Leon was our plumber. He did an excellent job and cleared a major line clog in short order, after having to adjust his snake several times. He was very thorough and made sure that the drain ran with the maximum amount of water running and cleaned up the area around the tub from the filth of the clog and cleaned up the area entirely.

We are very happy with the service provided by Roto Rooter (Mamaroneck) from dispatch (Patty), to the service technicians (Hector and Alex), and excavation team (led by Ernesto).

We initially had our main line hydro jetted and inspected with a camera. From the camera we could see the main line in our basement was very old and showing signs of corrosion and the portion going from the house to the common line had shifted in several places (limiting flow in these areas) and had been penetrated by roots in a couple of places.

After 4 days the line backed up again and although they came back again and cleaned out the trap which seemed to solve the problem, we were convinced to replace the main line in our basement and insert a sleeve from the house to the common line (hoping it is more cost effective than having to do an excavation of our front yard in the future).

After assessment, the excavation team came the next day and completed the job in 1.5 days. Everyone was very professional and took the time to explain the issue and what they were doing.

Had a sewer blockage which was cleared but costly.  The following day a Roto-Rooter,  field supervisor came out with a camera and told me my sewer line required repair.  I did not see him run the camera down the line as I was on a call as my appointment time was changed by Roto- Rooter.  After he ran the camera down the line, he came up with two repair options.  Option #1 -  A liner for the sewer line cost appx $14,000 or Option #2 replace the sewer lines cost appx  $37,000.  I stated thanks but no thanks and secured a second estimate.  I paid $300 for a camera to be placed down my sewer line again.  This time, I watched as the camera was placed down the line and guess what?  My sewer line is fine plus there is no damage to the line from trees, roots nor are there cracks in the line.    Be aware of using this service provider as you could potentially be ripped off.

Jude came out, after midnight and unclogged our main line which was keeping us from running any water.  He was careful and professional and completed the work in under an hour.

We had a Roto-Rooter plumber named Alex. He was fast, efficient and very friendly. He was able to point out the problem in our pipes and gave us the options to fix it.

Our sewer pipe was clogged, regular plumber couldn't come until next day, so called Roto Rooter Mamaroneck NY.  They came out a number of times, finally saying whole sewer pipe needed to be replaced to street.  They loaded everything in garage in front of breaker box and freezer, leaving it all for me to move back (I am 75), kept blowing an electrical strip, and never bothered to turn it back on, leaving my freezer without power for a while (lost some food in it).  The total cost was a whopping $17,000, and they left a giant mound of dirt on front lawn with an ugly big white faucet in the middle (never came back to fix it, even though I asked).

My experience with Roto-Rooter could not have been worse. Not only were they careless (e.g., significant collateral damage) but they were non-responsive (e.g., did not return to finish work or pickup equipment). In addition, their invoice did not reflect actual work completed, which resulted in almost $4,000 in extra charges (e.g., charged for a dumpster, additional air movers and dehumidifiers, door/floor/baseboard removal that did not occur). When the issue was raised with the General Manager, I was threatened with a lien on my home.

I would highly suggest exploring other clean-up options as there are other better, more professional options. I repeat, do not use this Roto-Rooter location unless you want to end up being taken advantage of and left with more misery than you started with.

RotoRooter serviceman came when promised and efficiently cleaned sewer traps and all downspouts and subsurface lines that lead out. Work was professional and well done.

Be careful with this company. Completely walked off a job after quoting me triple the price during service leaving us with no other option to remediate the situation. Very unethical business practices.

I was very thrilled with the level of professionalism I received from Enroy. I had an issue with my drain, he came and quickly assessed the situation. Although I knew nothing about drains, he was able to elaborately explain, what caused the clogging and the work he needed to do to correct it. As he was fixing the drain he showed me what was stuck in the drain and gave me tips on how to prevent this from happening in the future. When in need roto-rooter is there.

I called for them around 1pm for a clocked sewage line. Was promised a technician would be there between 3pm and 7pm. The tech arrives around 4.30 and quickly diagnosed the issue. He gave me a quote and once I accepted he quickly went to work. Took him about 45 min to clear the main sewage line. He was clearly a professional and knew what he was doing. He was courteous and he cleaned up after him self. Work guaranteed for 6 months. This is not the first time I use this company and my experience was similar the first time. Will use again when I need a plumber.

Miguel was courteous, patient and extremely helpful. Total cost was very expensive - but came on a Sunday and helped get us back to normal within an hour.  4-stars only due to cost, great experience otherwise.

The service tech was excellent. He was very thorough and left everything clean. But the price charged was outrageous.  They billed me  $510 to snake the line clean.  Fifteen minutes of work.  In and out in under 40 minutes. They won’t quote you a price on the phone or give you any idea until you wait a few hours for the tech to show up. But this price was way overcharged and they know at 9pm at night I am not looking around for a reasonable priced plumber.   But the tech was very nice and did a great job.

I had a great experience from beginning to end. I scheduled my appointment for 8a-12p, online the day before. The office called promptly at 730a to let me know the technician was in his way. He arrived at 750a for an 8am appointment and got right to it. He assessed our issue and worked quickly to rectify. The technician was friendly and personable, especially since it was so early in the morning. Sonia in the office was also a pleasure to work with. I will not hesitate to call RR for any plumbing needs.

Same problem, seven months later, one month out of warranty. And the technician was surprised the last guy didn't do something which would have prevented this incident, a clog in the trap, not the drain to the street/sewer. But no consideration for fee at all? Here 30 minutes tops, $600 beans, see you in 7 months? Not happening again, calling the other guy.
