There was a water leakage from a toilet last year December. Roto-rooter came to do the water clean. They called my home insurance to file a claim. Based on their good reviews, I trusted them. In final, the tissue clog caused the water overflow in the toilet. They fixed the toilet and uninstalled my hard wood floor. They charged me around 17 k for one pet room and one bathroom in the first floor. The total area is around 400 sqr ft. Fortunately, my home insurance covered this and issued payment to roto-rooter in January. But They sent me an email that indicated there was still a remaining balance of 5k left and will go to their law department. My home insurance adjuster and I are trying to solve the issue from the beginning. My experience with roto-rooter is really bad and there is no effective communication. Take your own risk to use their services.

Showed up and took care of my leak same day for a reasonable price. Technicians were knowledgeable and looked for the best, most cost-effective solution to my issue. I had called a few local plumbers who gave me the runaround so it was nice to have a good experience with this big name company.

I was charged $300 for 20 minutes work. Initially I was going to be charged $545 but with discounts the charge was brought down to $300. That is $15 a minute. I'm not asking for a free ride but that to me is gouging in any instance. Plus they used my electric. I am a senior on a fixed income. The company should develop a program for seniors.
