  My first experience with R.L. Lyons Heating and cooling was during the extended heat wave of 2011 when my OLD a/c unit failed. They upgraded to a slightly larger unit and had it replaced and running in about a day and a half. Because of the lengthy heat wave I was only one of many with a/c failures. Years later, I want to do some work to put my home on the market. The room adjacent to the utility closet needed some structural repairs and a contractor was scheduled to come out within the next 10 days to demo and upgrade. The gas lines were showing signs of rust, especially below the floor. Greg Carlson was out on a Thursday to inspect the lines and said he could have his guys out on Tuesday. Sure enough, 8:10 Tuesday morning they called ahead to let me know they were on their way. They layed a tarp to protect my floors and had the old, rusty pipes out and the new ones in, tested and everything working before 10:00. I have recommended them before and would use them again myself.

  I was very impressed with this company from the moment that I called them. They came for a cleaning within 2 days of calling(it was not a rush)and the technician Jay was wonderful. He explained everything he was doing and was very informative. We will definitely be using this company in the future!!

  We just recently moved to Morris and I wasn’t familiar with our built in humidifier. I google heating and cooling places near me. After reading some great reviews I gave R L Lyon’s a call. I’m so glad I did! What exceptional friendly informative employees! He showed me how to work our new system and answered all probably silly questions I had. I’m so happy I called them and they have a new long time customer because of such great service.
