  I called the office and told the office lady that I believed the thermostat went out in our water heater, that the thermostat while it was a whirlpool water heater, was a honeywell. I asked if I needed to get one before I had the men come out to replace it. She said no they had universal ones. I asked her if she was sure, and I offered to give her the # of the part and she said she didn't need it. She asked how old the water heater was and I said 5 to 6 years and she said well you water heater may be bad because they are finding this is happening a lot. I told her I didn't believe this was the case. The men came out tried to tell me the water heater was old and a 2004 it was a 2012 and brand new when we got it from lowes. They then told me they didn't carry the thermostat part and didn't have a universal part, and the only way they could help me was install a new water heater to the tune of 1,111.00. For that I had to pay $90.00 and they were here 10 minutes. I wouldn't recommend them. The crew told me the boss is encouraging people to not fix but "replace" the water heaters because they wouldn't warranty a fix. While the men were really nice they didn't have a clue about what could be wrong w/my water heater. I called later that afternoon after the guys left and told the gal I made the appointment with what happened. She read the report to me and I said the guys never checked the thermostat and told her everything that they told me including that she was the lady in the office that didn't know anything. At then end of the conversation she was helpful and said she would send my check back. About 3 days later I received the check back in the mail. While I wouldn't call them back because they are going to want to replace the water heater, I do give them credit for sending my money back. I edited this post after I got my check back.

  Called them 2 weeks ago and again 1 week ago, was told I'll call you right back. I'm still waiting for that call back. Very unprofessional service, would not recommend them under any circumstances.
