  I had him install a water meter coupling for me and it was the incorrect size so I could not get my water meter put on. I called him back multiple times to inform him of his error but of course he went MIA. Luckily I was able to get a MASTER PLUMBER, which I highly doubt he is, to come fix it. I waited about two months to call him back and he answered. I guess he forgot my number. When he did I answer I told him of his error and how he could improve his business practices. Of course he offered to come by and fix it but literally two months after blowing me constantly off. If I would have waited for him I would have never got my water meter issue situated. Seems like this guy like the fast buck and that’s all. I would tell anyone to find another plumber because this guy just doesn’t cut it. ALSO A MASTER PLUMBER AT THAT! This is in response to your post. Prior to posting this review we spoke on the phone and you admitted that you didn’t answer me back and your excuse was “I was busy”. So please stop with the semantics. As I said before which you completely glossed over was the fact your not a MASTER PLUMBER. MASTER PLUMBERS are supposed to stay up to date with the new Philadelphia plumbing updates/codes. Regardless if a customer may or may not know what they need or asked for a MASTER PLUMBER would correct them and let them know what is correct. It’s a shame that your knowledge base is the same as the customers or slightly a little more. Like I said as to anyone reading this…HIRE A MASTER PLUMBER.

  Thanks for your kind words. You called and asked to have water meter couplings installed. I came out the same day to do the job. You did not specify a size for the couplings, so naturally the size that fit on the pipe You had coming in the wall were installed. You never left a message stating that you had a problem, and as soon as I heard of the problem I offered to fix it. Not sure what else I could possibly do for you. To be clear, I am in fact a licensed plumber here in Philadelphia, as well as a licensed home improvement contractor in PA. With 14 years of being in the business under my belt, I think that only someone who is uneducated would assume that they have a knowledge base anywhere close mine. Your a troll, get lost.

  are was great to work with. His easy going personality gave me the confidence in him that he knew what he was doing. Didn't charge a fortune either!

  I had a small leak coming from the base a cast iron drain pipe that was fed into the basement floor in my rental property. First off, I called a number of plumbers and Proper was the only one to return my call. (This is still the case, days later). I explained what was happening thinking this would be a simple fix with some patch work but that was not the case after our discussion. Jared explained that patching cast iron typically fails pretty quickly and since the piping is original with the house, it is so old and thin that the water is basically seeping right through the wall of the piping. His solution was exactly what I was fearing - not only replacing the pipe but also having to chop up the floor and replace some of the piping underground. Not only did I think this was going to be an arduous process, but expensive as hell. Jared explained to me that he does these type of jobs all the time and it typically takes him 3-4 hours to complete. He also gave me an extremely fair and reasonable price. He completed the job the very next day. During the job, he contacted me and said the price was actually going to be cheaper because of the size of the pipe he had to use and was able to save me additional money. I highly commend him on his honesty as I feel like that is extremely rare when it comes to working with contractors/tradesmen. He leverages current technology to make invoicing and payments a breeze that also include before and after pics. I even noticed in the final product that he actually replaced more of the piping then he originally told me he was going to replace. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND PROPER FUNCTION PLUMBING and I will be using them in the future, no doubt.
