Prestige has done several jobs for my family personally and has never let us down. They are always very friendly, professional and go out of their way to make sure that the job is done completely and correctly. Amazing group of workers!

The company was called out to repair a leaking toilet leak twice which has caused water damage to my living room and lower level cieling. Their technicians started repairs on the leaks and never returned back to complete the work which are problems they made worse. I had to repair the toilet leak because the technician left it leaking and said he be back but was a no show. I contacted the company numerous of times spoke with their technicians said they would get with their boss Elijah about the issues and it has been three weeks and no response. I have to find someone to repair my cielings. I used them because of home warranty. If you are a gambler the odds of them fixing you problem is against you.

I'll start by saying this is a 100% unbiased review. I used this company because this is who my home warranty company is connected with in the area. The story begins as I was dealing with a clogged floor drain in my basement and weighing my options as what to do. I saw it was covered under my warranty, so the warranty company assigned Prestige once I explained the issue to them. The rep came out and poured a bottle of $5 sulfuric drain cleaner. I explained that I had poured about about everything down the drain that I had found. I told them the source of the clog was more so in the washing machine runoff instead of the floor itself. I was told to wait an hour and the water should slowly drain out. Fast forward an hour later and the water was still standing. I called them and they said they'd have to file a unsuccessful claim to the warranty company. 2 weeks later, and only after we called, we were told that the claim wasn't filed but they would send it in as soon as possible. In the meantime, Prestige's report that was filed to the home warranty company made a claim that drainage pipe had collapsed and labeled the incident as "slab leak". If you're following along, nobody looked in the drain itself, or even made any claim to make an attempt to actually check the drain blockage from Prestige. The work was outlined to start digging and replace the drainage pipe immediately. After a couple weeks of discussing with the warranty company of what to do, they explained that I did have the option to locate another contractor to come and examine the issue and correct if possible. Another company came, looked for the drain clean-out and immediately wheeled the auger down to run through the washing machine wall drain runoff. After about 20-30 min, the drain was open. There was a small piece of tree root lodged in the drain and stopping water from draining. We had suspected such a thing but wasn't completely sure about correcting the problem ourselves since we have old pipes.Total cost, $250. Not the $2000+ Prestige had quoted. Since we went through a warranty company, prestige had so much money guaranteed. They then tried to double-down and max out the warranty allowance money on our contract, and we still would have been responsible for $1000+ and countless hours of the final repair. I do not recommend this company for plumbing at all. I'm not aware if the warranty company will seek another partner contractor in the area once the service reports are compared, but they definitely should. Either option is affordable for us, but had this been somebody struggling to make ends meet, they could of lost major things they depend on paying for something like this. This case was nothing short of fraud. To Prestige-don't take advantage of your customers, not everybody will just hand you money when you guess what the problem is. There's enough going on in the world that the last thing people need is a contractor to take advantage of them. If this was a senior, disabled individual, etc, on a fixed income, you'd be threatening their way of life.
