  8/2021 - I do have to edit my original review. After about three thermostats that still didn't work properly they quit returning our calls, my husband and I each called and left messages or talked to them, I had sent an email and they won't respond. So even though we paid over $2000 for the project, they won't replace the thermostat that is probably less than $50, so we'll have to call someone else to replace it. They initially did a great job, but we can't go through another winter with one of the thermostats not working. I highly recommend this business. Our furnace stopped working recently during a very cold weekend, and the plumbers I had used for previous issues were either too busy or not interested. I started calling places and they called right back and came that day. Our house is older and strange, nothing seems to be an easy fix, he was incredibly thorough and found the issue. Of course it ended up being a costly problem, as everything in this house is, but he provided options if we didn't want to spend that much at the moment. We did end up getting the big problem fixed, which included two thermostats being replaced. One of them didn't seem to work as well as the other, so he came out twice to adjust it until it was working as well as the other, and even sent a follow up text about a week later. We will definitely use them again for any other plumbing issues or updates.

  Our furnace stopped working and we couldn’t figure out what the problem was. We called around looking for someone to come out and fix the problem. Most couldn’t come out for a few days or were non responsive. I left a voicemail and Bill got back to me rather quickly. He said no heat calls are priority and would be there shortly. He was here within the hour. He explained different parts of the furnace and their functions and went straight to work. He was here just about an hour. Got the heat up and running. I will definitely be a return customer and will be referring friends and family to this business

  I am very happy with Preferred Plumbing and heating. fast call back and scheduling. Furnace was up and running in a couple of hours at a fair price. i enjoyed talking with Bill. I will definitely call them when I have any plumping or heating issue.
