  The store is very clean and neat. I ordered an item online and they called me to tell me it had arrived. It sounds like a small thing but I was stunned at that tiny act. I don't know about you but almost every business seems lazy, rude and Incompetent. They were nice , quick, and even put my item on a cart. I didn't need the cart but it was nice to offer. I didn't get a notice that my item was ready for pickup in my app till I literally picked it up but like I said they called me on the phone so it did the job. I'll use the ace online at the monticello store again.

  I hate big box hardware stores, and Pomeroy's is an example why. Their store is clean and organized, and their customer service can't be matched at the big box. I ordered a Little Giant M22 Ladder from Pomeroy's because I couldn't get one elsewhere. The central warehouse sent the wrong one twice. After the second try, Mr Pomeroy went to the warehouse personally, picked up my ladder, and brought it to my doorstep at 6 p.m. on Friday so I could have it when I started a job on Monday. And I don't even live in their county! You just can't get customer service like that at the big box! Thank you!

  I was once their biggest fan & best ad until I talked my trusted plumber into going to Ace instead of Baker’s or Barton’s. He was shocked at how high their prices are. 😝
