We contacted Plumbing Nerds on a Friday and got scheduled for the following Tuesday, with a 3 hour window from 9-12pm. 12 pm came and went with no plumber, I received texts saying Oscar was on his way, but he didn't show up until 2 pm. He walked in and declared he would first give us an estimate. His work was extremely simple, replace a leaking garbage disposal with a new one we already purchased. A 15 minute job, he admitted. However he had the audacity to quote us $375 for this 15 minute job! When questioned why so much he stated that's because he would provide a warranty. So, how much without the warranty? No change in price. We told him we would not accept his quote as it was dramatically inflated so he tried to charge us an $85 fee for showing up (2 hours late). Needless to say we did not give him any money and asked him to leave. Sadly, I used this company 2 years ago for a different job and back then they were professional and appropriately priced. I don't know if the owner changed, but their business model now has become predatory. Stay away unless you want to overpay

Patrick Ball came to our home to access the problem of an abandoned auger in our sewe pipes. In a short period of time he was able to find the exact location of it. He put a small hole in the wall and found a clean out. He was able to retrieve the auger from that point. We had another plumbing company out for this but they pretty much said it’s your problem and left. The Plumbing Nerds are our new plumbers. Great job well done!!

Jorge with Plumbing Nerds was outstanding—calm, knowledgeable, effective—he quickly identified the problem, explained everything thoroughly and then with the best attitude, repaired everything completely—and this was 9pm! I was highly impressed and would use them for any plumbing issue or maintenance in the future. Superb! Thank you!!
