Update 2/2/21! Stephan of Plumbing Express NEVER COMPLETED THE WORK he was paid in full for. There was no reason why the work was not able to be completed but what we know from experience is that Stephan’s business practices and level of professionalism do not stand up to his initial assurances and are questionable, at best. BE VERY CAUTIOUS about hiring this company. Also, be sure to check out the complaints against his business on the BBB website! Stephan was hired to replace a septic system for our home, he was paid in full and we were assured work would be complete within one week of digging up the old system. That was the first of July and it's now October 1 and the ground is still wide open and nothing is connected. To say this is unsanitary and unsafe would be a massive understatement. Every week we're told a crew is coming to finish and workers show up for a few hours and then leave and we don't see them again until we call to see what's going on. This is 100% unacceptable. They are unreliable and unprofessional at best and not worth the hassle of dealing with them. There are MUCH better and more reliable plumbing service providers out there. I 100% advise NOT HIRING this company unless you like dealing with poor communication and bad excuses for not completing work.
Response from the owner
We contacted you and your “contractor”husband numerous times on multiple occasions and you deliberately ignored us. We also clearly specified bedrock removal wasn’t included in our bid. The septic install was also paid for by the previous owners of the property, not you. Furthermore, we presented with you with an extremely reasonable bid for the bedrock removal. Im sorry you lost your business and over extended yourself with the home you purchased but we don’t do work for free. Please have your “contractor” husband contact us and we would like to further remedy this situation.
