  Visiting my son at his rental hone & a clog in main line caused an overflow in the basement. I give the company credit for coming out on short notice - only company that was willing to do that. However, when he arrived and ran the auger, it hit the clog and then couldn’t go any further. The plumber couldn’t figure out if the house was on city or sewage service , so he wasn’t sure if the tank was full and needed pumping, which he couldn’t help us with; OR, if city service, he’d have to come back in the morning with a camera to resolve the issue - in the meantime, we could not use any water or plumbing fixtures. We repeatedly told him our son was paying for city water & sewage. My son called his management company the next morning, had a company there within 2 hrs, discovered that a root had grown over the pipe and caused a section to cave in - that was the stopping point the previous plumber/company hit. Cleared the clog to allow minimum plumbing in the house to be used until the pipe could be permanently fixed. (That will take digging up the driveway to get to). Disappointed that Plumbers Smyrna couldn’t discern if the house was on city/sewage and clear the clog to allow for usage until they could get a camera out - plumber didn’t show any interest in resolving the issue that day. Not sure if because it was an emergency call and/or after 6PM 🤷‍♀️

  SMYRNA PLUMBING Having just moved into a new home for us we wanted to have the water heater replaced. We contacted another company for an estimate. We then found Smyrna Plumbing through Home Advisor. James came out on a Sunday and gave an estimate for the same water heater replacement and they were $1,000 les then the first estimate for the exact same heater. We also had some other work completed and we could not be more pleased with the excellent service we received. The technicians were very professional and very courteous and prompt. They did an excellent job. 2 weeks later we had a clogged drain and again called and James came out and tracked down the clog and repaired it. He was very knowledgeable and professional. We truly have found the best Plumbing company in the Smyrna,Vinings area bar none. Thank you Smyrna Plumbing
