Working with Plitnick was a pleasure. The entire experience from appointment setup to installation was quick and easy. I highly recommend this company for all your HVAC and plumbing needs.

Used Plitnick for boiler replacement and am very happy with their service and knowledge when it came to updating our complicated heating system. They took the time afterwards to explain the system setup and operation which I really appreciated.

Very bad experience. They came recommended and I had a fine experience with the first few techs that came out to our house. They were all friendly and seemed knowledgable. We moved into a new house and we wanted to make sure our boiler was in good shape before the winter so they came out to run a combustion test and left the house telling me everything was in great shape and my boiler was running efficiently. They left behind a printout of their readings for our record. Our gas usage and bills were extremely high all season so we had an energy audit completed by a different company. They took one look at the combustion test printout that Plitnick left behind and immediately knew something wasn't right. Plitnick did not notice the CO reading was not measured and the efficiency percentage did not make sense for the boiler I had. Ultimately I discovered that my boiler had been running horribly efficient all season long and their error cost me hundreds of dollars in inflated gas bills every month. I called Plitnick to ask them about the combustion test and why they didn't flag the concerns from their readings and they got extremely defensive, texted me a bunch of weird articles/links about some unrelated federal regulations, info from the Testo website (the devices they use for the combustion test), and information about home inspections (not relevant). None of this addressed my very simple question as to why they did not notice the CO reading was not measured. They literally left the evidence showing there were issues with my boiler this entire time, but they did not notice. They told me the owner of the company would call me to discuss but I never heard back despite my polite follow-ups asking for some clarification. They also never gave me the results from a water test we asked them to do a few weeks prior. They just stopped responding entirely. Clearly they know they screwed up. Extremely disappointing that they would not take any responsibility for their mistake and make even the slightest effort to keep me as a customer.
