  This six week-long journey ended today with success! Our water heater went off, and Mike came and showed us how to relight the pilot, no charge. That was the harbinger of things to come--2 weeks later it switched off again. Kyle replaced one part, and we all thought that would do it. It didn't. I got very good at relighting the pilot, as this became a daily habit while the folks at PP hunted down the issue. They replaced the second main part--no luck. Mike came back and puzzled and puzzled. He found the dipstick yesterday, all cracked. They went to Denver to get that part and installed it today. Mike and his assistant sat out in the truck while they waited to see what happened--and it still shut itself off. Amazing patience (no $%&#@ words that I heard...). Finally they found a bad sensor. And today--a glorious hot shower. To add--after the initial installation expense, PP worked with us and basically didn't charge us for labor, which was so very generous. Thank you to all the fine folks at Planet Plumbing, especially our favorite Easter Bunny, Mike!

  Mike R was extremely professional and efficent, along with being equally cordial and friendly. He modified the job plan to save us some $ by choosing the most efficient approach to one of the repairs, and it's all done now, within hardly more than 24 hours since I called the PP&D office. No doubt I'll be calling them again next time.

  Mike arrived exactly on time, diagnosed the problem immediately, and let me video him showing us how to troubleshoot if it ever happened again. Amazing. We really appreciate their high-level professionalism and great service.
