  We experienced a complete shut-down of our heating and air conditioning system. I called to report the outage and they had a repair team out to my house in a matter of hours on the same day. The repairmen were thorough,, professional and competent in diagnosing the problem and promptly making the repair. They explained everything to me to my satisfaction and left with the promise that they would return promptly if I had any more trouble. I highly recommend this fine business.

  I took my welding job to Pender Brothers which I considered a small job. I met with the technician and we discussed the fix which I thought was appropriate. He ask if I needed a quote but the owner wasn't there to give a quote When I was called to pick it up the cost far exceeded what I thought was a fair charge for the job. The job done didn't look like what we had discussed. The job couldn't have taken more than an hour at most and the labor charge was $ 92.00. Parts $ 20.00 which consisted of a piece of Aluminum about the size of to credit cards. Total of $115.00. I am not sure what a Welder in Beaufort makes for 1 hour of work but I wouldn't think it would be 92.00. If you do buisness with Pender Brothers make sure you get a quote.

  Mr. Thompson, I do apologize that you're unhappy with the pricing. We have always tried to treat people the way we would want to be treated. If we do not have competitive pricing then we would not still be able to be in business. Our welding shop rate is $100.00 an hour and the technician worked on that piece for an hour total. He had to cut the metal, clean it/deburr it, drill a precise hole and then weld it in place on your boat. All of these things take time. We take great pride in the service we provide for our community. We will be happy to provide you a quote for any future needs.

  Having received HVAC excellent maintenance from Pender Brothers for 15+ years in our previous home in Beaufort, we are glad to once again depend on Pender Brothers to keep the temperature comfortable in our home in Azalea Square.
