They came highly recommended by a friend. But, two days in the same week they were supposed to show up for a job. Both days they didn't show during the window. Both days I had to call after the scheduled time to get an update. Both days I was told they were "on jobs that were running late" and was suggested to reschedule to another day. Woman in the office is very nice, and I'm sure they do good work if you can get them to show up. But, completely unprofessional not to show and not to even call.

Young Plumbing recently replaced quite a bit of cast iron plumbing in my basement, as well as installed a new sink fixture in my bathroom, and installed a large double basin wash tub in my laundry area. The plumbers were on-time and professional. They finished the job in a timely manner and I felt the price was very fair. I would definitely recommend Young Plumbing.

I called for help at the morning time and they agreed to send somebody at 3:00 and by 4:00 I called for status and the woman told me "sorry, they are running late on another job" and I said ok I can wait for them. I thought that was reasonable for a toilet that is leaking water all over the floor. She got very abrasive and said "That would be time and a half" and I said "you mean I have to pay that?" I was kind of surprised because it seems like they were late, didn't inform me, and then want to penalize me and make me pay for their lateness? What did I do? It was very unpleasant and unprofessional. I was treated really impolitely in my opinion. The woman said " I can't control how long a job before yours takes." That is true but you can control the communication. Then the woman said "all you can do is call Roto Rooter or take an appointment tomorrow morning. Really not 5 star standard of care of clients.
