  This is sort of long because I think it's unfair to leave a bad review without details. Dec 6, 2021. We had a leak in a copper pipe under our house. Sleuth located the leak and Palmetto Plumbing (PP) repaired the leak. $300 to open the floor, fix the leak and fill the hole in the floor. No problem with that. Feb 8, 2022. Water is coming up from the floor in the same spot. PP dispatched a tech who showed up at 8 PM without the tool necessary to open the concrete floor. Ok, maybe there was a communication error and he was unaware that he had to cut a hole in concrete. Rather than him coming back later that night with the tool, he agrees to come back the next morning. Next day he opens the hole, finds that the old repair is good and that we have a new leak. We agree that I will call Sleuth to locate the new leak before they break any more concrete. PP charged me $180, no problem there. Feb 9. I have been turning the water supply off and on as need to avoid getting water in the house and I notice that I can hear the leak when the water supply is first turned on. I decide to see if I can find the leak and quickly locate it about 6 inches from the current hole in the concrete. I call PP to see if we can get this repaired so that we can live normally until the house is re-piped. Feb 11. Same tech shows up without his "jackhammer" tool, again. Seriously. He claims he was not told by the office that the had to break concrete. He goes back to his truck to get a hammer and chisel and upon returning he tells me that the charge will be $700 this time. I tell him to get out and that I don't need an estimate on the re-pipe from them. I don't really know what was going on here. Maybe the tech just did not want to do this job or maybe they were trying to gouge me. It's even possible that there was another communication error. In any case I won't deal with them again.

  No one in office. Left detailed message. I have new home would like hot water on demand. Never called back.

  The worst - I tried to give it 0 stars, but couldn't. The pictures below is the way Jesse from Palmetto plumbing installed a refrigerator box - he left it this way and charged $480 to do it. We notified the office and sent this picture as well, but received no response - the owner must not care about his business.
