The initial contact was a check of the furnace and AC unit. Brandon did a marvelous job of taking pictures and explaining the furnace looked new but the AC was on its deathbed and could endanger the furnace. He sat with me through the process of talking with his boss and finding they had 1 unit the right size in stock and could immediately install it. Everything went smoothly. Inspectors arrived two business days later (would have been one but I was unavailable). One source offered me a good payment plan if I wanted to go that route and the only problem was one of the inspectors wanted a paper strip put on the back of the furnace. They will be out this week to get that on. Small problem, nice unit. I will use this company again because of their attention to detail, prompt service, snf pleasant employees.

I didn’t think it could get any worse than my experience with Roto Router, but I was sadly mistaken. Worst experience with a plumber EVER. Btw I would recommend checking their reviews on Facebook as well before choosing them. Somehow they have good reviews on Google but terrible ones on Facebook. TLDR: Beyond frustrating, unprofessional, TERRIBLE at communicating, dishonest. I’m a very fair and calm person, but they have messed up every step of the way and still continue to. I keep giving them chances to make handle things correctly. Was supposed to be a 1-day fix, now a drawn-out ordeal. Full Story: Any one of the following issues by itself would be somewhat understandable and forgivable, but after multiple disappointments, we’re beyond frustrated. Long story short, instead of properly and thoroughly investigating the problem, he gave a quick glance around and it seems he went with the solution that he could charge us most for. Mechanics and plumbers seem very alike in this way. 😂 In hindsight, we should have got a second opinion (our mistake) but he made it seem like he was pretty certain what the issue was. He was nice and friendly the first visit (maybe just to get our business, not sure), but everyone else after that wasn’t near as personable or communicative. They start this expensive project by digging a humongous, deep hole in our front yard. Which would be fine if it was a 1-day project like they said it would be. Here we are a week later with this big hole in the yard, an animal could easily fall in there and get stuck. Anyways, they work that day and then leave without any explanation, and don’t let us know when they’ll be back. Didn’t hear from them until 2-3 days later, despite truing 5+ times to reach them. (The people who answer the phones arent the same people that come to your house, so you have to wait for them to contact the company on your behalf, and then just wait to see if they ever call you back. When someone finally returned our calls, he said that the crew should have, and failed to get the proper permits before starting the job. He said someone would come the following day. Of course no one came the following day. Yet another let down. When someone new finally comes, he investigates and does everything that the first crew should have done in the first place. He fixes the issue and leaves. I wish that it could have been that easy from the beginning. They didn’t say this outright, but from the conversations I overheard and the things I was told, it seems that the previous team had lied about what they had and had not done. Also that day, the people came to inspect the hole they dug in order to give a permit. Surprise, the work wasnt done right, and now they have to fix their mistakes before filling in the hole. So now i’m still stuck with the $6500 money pit/hole in the front yard. Someone comes the next day. I wasnt told ahead of time that anyone would be coming today, so I made plans. I get a message that he’s on his way anyway. There’s no way to contact them directly, so by the time the 3rd party relayed the message to the plumber, he was already here. So I guess they’re coming back to fix the rest of it. In summary, they just handled every situation badly. There was zero communication the whole time, even after we expressed our frustration. They tried to avoid being up front and honest the whole time. They were either late or just didn’t show up at all. I’m no plumber, but it seems like the issue could have been resolved WITHOUT digging the $6500 hole. Yes, I understand houses should have clean-outs (what they dug the hole for) but if they had investigated properly before jumping to the most expensive ‘solution’, I think it could have been solved without doing/paying all that. A little open communication and honesty would have went a long way in this situation. Communication with eachother and communication with us.. 👎🏽

Nathan and Nick did a great inspection of my ancient furnace and my new, but failing, water heater. I'm very greatful for all the good advice and their genuine concern for my safety. Who knew Magic Chef made furnaces? Yes, it's that old! Would highly recommend Nathan for any type of plumbing or heating problem. He'll figure it out. (They also repaired a dryer vent that I didn't even know had come apart in the crawl space. Great guys.)
